Amy D. McPeek Miller, 35, passed away at King's Daughters Medical Center Wednesday evening May 19, 2010, following a long illness.
Amy was the daughter of Dave McPeek and Jackie McPeek, both of Ashland, and born Jan. 21, 1975.
She was a 1993 graduate of Boyd County High School and worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years.
Amy is survived by her husband of nine years, Scott Miller; a daughter, Jordan Fannin, age 12; a son, Michael Miller, age 7, at home; two sisters, Stacy Schaffer (James) of Greenup and Leah Caudill; a brother, James Gillian (Lisa); her stepmother, Jane McPeek, all of Ashland; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Valorie Miller of Nicholasville.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Evelyn McPeek and Thomas and Mable Miller.
Amy was an amazing and loving wife and mother! She cared more about others than she ever did herself. She will always be loved and remembered for the gracious, loving and selfless person she was. We love and miss you so much, and we always will.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg. Pastor Butch Kiger will offer words of comfort. Final rest will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
