ASHLAND - Beulah M. Phillips, 74, of Ashland, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born April 5, 1939, to the late Hubert and Julia Sparks Salyers.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Phillips Sr.; sons Robert Phillips Jr. and John Phillips; brothers Edward Wright, Calvin Wright and Delbert Salyers; and sisters Ruth McNurlin, Beatrice Henson and Emma Wright.
She was a homemaker and attended Hensley Hollow Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods.
She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Phillips Waddell (Paul) of Grayson; grandchildren Valeri Willis of Danleyton, Michael and Jason Waddell of Grayson and Beth Phillips of Ashland; great-grandchildren Brittany and Braden Willis, Emilee and Maggie Waddell and Jada Vincent; and a brother, Orville Wright of Oklahoma City.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, at Music Family Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Henry Montgomery. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, June 6, 2013, at the funeral home.
