Billie Louise Manley Castle, 82, of Ashland, passed away Nov. 2, 2012, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility.

Mrs. Castle was born Sept. 30, 1930, in Mt. Sterling, a daughter of the late Everett and Nellie Hawkins Manley. Her husband, John Lewis Castle, preceded Billie in death.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, devoted to her family. She was a former member of South Side Nazarene Church and a current member of Ashland First Church of the Nazarene.

Billie leaves behind her children; son, Donald Castle and wife Gail of Hazard; daughter, Marcia Buchanan and husband Larry of Ashland; grandchildren, Rebecca Mingus (Scott) of Dover, Pa., Melissa Smith (Aaron) of Ashland and great-grandchildren, Tristan, Aidan Mingus and Colin Smith; Bbrothers, Otto Everett Manley (Peggy) of Mt. Sterling, Doug Manley of Jeffersonville and Scotty Manley of Middletown, Ohio; sisters, Joan Romer (Francis) of Catlettsburg, Jean Little and Janice Williams, both of Mt. Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers Addison and Woody Manley and a sister, Wilma Fay Henderson.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at the Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home in Catlettsburg. Pastor James Webster will bring a message of comfort. Final rest will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers are Vernon Manley, Everett Manley Jr, Ronald D. Manley, Francis Romer and Joe Romer.
