Charles T. McDonald, 70, of Ashland, Ky., died July 14, 2008 at his residence.
He was born April 10, 1938, in Ashland, a son of the late Charles Thomas and Anna Belle Clark McDonald.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Patrick McDonald.
He was a retired turn foreman with Armco Steel with 30 years of service and volunteered with AARP Taxes. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ashland where he served as treasurer for 30 years.
Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years, Sharon Horgen McDonald of Ashland; two sons, Mark McDonald and wife, Heather of Richmond, Ky., and David McDonald and wife, Darlene of Ashland; a daughter, Jennifer Hatfield and husband, Ed of Ashland; a brother, Samuel McDonald of Ashland; a sister, Leona Epperson of Ashland; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ashland by Pastor Mark Kloha.
Services are under the direction of Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland.
