David Martin Hunt, 80, of Ashland, died Dec. 21, 2011, in Tri-State Regional Cancer Center in Ashland.
He was born Feb. 23, 1931, in Ashland, a son of the late Everett Hunt and Luna Mae Ross Hunt.
He was retired as sergeant first class with the U.S. Army with 23 years of service and served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a 32nd-degree Mason.
Surviving are a brother, Harold Hunt, and a sister, Florence Oller.
A time of remembrance will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland. Burial will be in Buckingham Friends Cemetery in Lahaska, Pa.
