Fred A. Price, a former resident of Pollard Road in Ashland, passed away in Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton, Ky., on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.
Mr. Price was 75 years of age, born Nov. 24, 1934, in Catlettsburg, a son of the late George and Virginia Kouns Price. He was a construction laborer with Local 1445 in Catlettsburg and a member of the Ashland Eagles.
Fred leaves behind a son, Clyde Fields and his wife, Jenny, and three grandchildren, Jason Fields of Ashland, Kimberly Fields of Huntington, W.Va., and Brian Fields of Homer, Alaska.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2010, at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland. Phil Richardson will offer comments to those in attendance.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg.
