Georgia Price

Georgia Bell Price, 92, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Georgia was born July 6, 1925, in Ashland to the late John and Hester Sprouse Peterman.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward "Bob" Price; and one grandchild, Beverly Chastain.
She was a former press operator at Hopes Laundry-Dry Cleaning and was a member of New Buckley Road Free Will Baptist Church.
She leaves behind two sons, Hebert Yonts Jr. (Ida) of Ashland and David Yonts (Linda) of Interlachen, Fl; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. by Pastor Lonnie Laney at Caniff Funeral Home.
Friends may call 12-1 p.m. Burial will follow at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
