Grace Bradley (1929-2010)
Grace Bradley, 80, of Ashland, formerly of Catlettsburg, passed away Tuesday morning, March 30, 2010, in Community Hospice Care Center.
Mrs. Bradley was born Sept. 9, 1929, in Catlettsburg, a daughter of the late Robert and Ella White. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Tom" Wilson Bradley, to whom she was married 59 years. Grace attended Catlettsburg schools, was a homemaker, loved gardening, cooking and birds and attended Westwood Enterprise Baptist Church.
Grace is survived by her children - sons Frank Wilson Bradley Jr. (Bonnie) of Raceland and Rick Bradley of Ashland; and daughters Francis Byrd of Ashland, Lynn Simmons (Mike) of Ranson, W.Va., Kathy Frazier (Roger) of Ashland, Rosie Cantrell (Mike) of Greenup, Ky., and Marie Kipp of Ashland.
Also surviving are 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert White of Hicksville, Ohio; and a sister, Marie Hatton of Edison, Ohio.
She was also preceded in death by cousins Molly Caldwell and Betty Hunt.
A funeral service to honor the life of Grace Bradley will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg. Pastor Raymond Stephens will bring a message of comfort. Final rest will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
