James Keith Ramsdell, 60, of Catlettsburg, made his eternal flight Monday, June 9, 2014, from his home.
Mr. Ramsdell was born July 2, 1953, in Ashland, KY, son of the late James Wilson and Helen Twinam Ramsdell. He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Young Ramsdell in 2011.
Keith was a graduate of Boyd County High School, a driver for Professional Transportation, Inc., member of BPOE Elks Lodge 942 and American Legion Post 93. He enjoyed fishing and hunting but most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Brian Ramsdell, and his wife Jessica, a daughter, Erin Ann Ramsdell, both of Catlettsburg, four grandchildren, Braidon, Serenity, Bryce, and Karsen, sisters, Anita Arrington of Catlettsburg and Barbara Clevenger of Rush, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a nephew Jason Arrington and brothers-in-law Ralph Arrington and Herb Clevenger.
Funeral service for Mr. Ramsdell will be at 1:00pm, Friday, June 13, 2014 at England Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Pastors Willie May and Daniel Crump will officiate. Final rest in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours are 6:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday evening at the Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home on Panola Street in Catlettsburg.
