Joan S. Cahal (1953-2010)
Joan S. Cahal, 56, of Erlanger, Ky., formerly of Ashland, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, in St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Edgewood, Ky.
She was born Oct. 15, 1953, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late John Joseph and Mary Kathryn Price McKelvey.
She was a customer service representative for Fifth Third Bank and attended Northern Kentucky Baptist Church in Fort Mitchell, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, James McKelvey.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis A. Cahal; a daughter, Amanda Cahal of Erlanger; a son, Matthew Cahal of Cincinnati, Ohio; a granddaughter, Madison Cahal of Erlanger; and a brother, Patrick McKelvey of Milwaukee, Wis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. Mike Rice. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, 15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693.
