June Walker Winger O'Connor (1919-2009)
June Walker Winger O'Connor, 89, of Greenup, Ky., died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, in Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. O'Connor was born March 20, 1919, in Scioto, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clark Walker and Grace Coleman Walker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mark O'Connor, and a sister, Bernice Walker Stull.
She was a retired clerk with Ashland Dry Good (Department Store).
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Winger (Sophia) of Danville, Pa.; a daughter, Lyda Winger Babcock of Greenup; and three grandchildren, Hayley Wagner of Texas, Esther Bell of Florida and Edward C. Gabbard of Ashland, Ky.
A graveside service will be at noon Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens by Pastor John Lybrooks.
There will be no visitation.
Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
