Madge Stepp

Madge Irene McCoy Stepp went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.

She was born May 13, 1921, in Pike County, to the late Benjamin McCoy and the late Sarah Jude McCoy.

She lived and raised her family in Hatfield, then resided in the Ashland and Ironton, Ohio, area for many years before living in Prince George, Va.

She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ade Stepp; and two daughters and a son-in-law, Martha Carol Spencer and her husband, Alvin, of Westerville, Ohio, and Donna Sue Lambert of Ironton.

She is survived by a son, Robert Charles Stepp of Gahanna, Ohio; three daughters, Phyllis Ann Lowe and husband Edward of Jarrettsville, Md., Esther Frances Singer of Indianapolis, Ind., and Anita Kathryn Fleming and husband Carl of Prince George; her son-in-law, David Lambert of Ironton; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.

There will be a viewing from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland, which is in charge of arrangements.
