Imogene Manning (1931-2009)
Marcella Imo "Imogene" Manning, 77, of Ashland, went to her eternal rest to be with her heavenly savior on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, in Community Hospice Care Center following an extended illness.
Imogene was born Feb. 22, 1931, in Morgan County, Ky., to the late Charles Wesley and Mattie Susan Craft Roberson. She was a member of Tri-State Gospel Assembly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy Roberson; a sister, Gloria Hardin and an infant granddaughter, Marci Allison Manning.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Manning of Ashland; a daughter, Charlotte (David) King of Catlettsburg; a son, Fred (Linda) Manning of Ashland; a grandson, Joseph Corey Manning and a granddaughter, Samantha (Jim) Reeves.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2009, by Pastor Terry Crowe at Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Imogene's memory may be made to Community Hospice Care Center, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, KY 41101.
