Marie Christian, 82, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, July 11, 2010, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born Nov. 17, 1927, in Ashland, a daughter of the late William Adams and Allie Frances Caskey Adams.
In addition, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Christian, and two sisters, Bonnie Jakobosky and Virginia Gullett.
She was a homemaker and a member of Ashland Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, William Ira Frazier of Ashland, Timothy William Frazier of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Charles A. (Teresa) Christian of Clinton, Tenn.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Francis (Stough) Lewis of Alabama, Patricia Ann (Wallace) Mills of Worthington, Ky., Deborah (Greg) Picklesimer of Ashland and Dorothy (Michael) Sammons of Cannonsburg, Ky.; 19 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland by Grant Sammons. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, July 13, 2010, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Community Hospice, 1538 Central Ave., Ashland, KY 41101.
