Mark Allen Sisson (1969-2009)
Mark Allen Sisson, 39, of Catlettsburg, Ky., died Thursday evening at his home following an extended illness.
Mark was born July 27, 1969, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of Tim and Kathy Stotler Kemper of Catlettsburg.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Wayne A. Sisson, and was a graduate of Russell High School.
Surviving, in addition to his mom and dad, are two daughters, Kasey and Jessie Sisson of Flatwoods, Ky.; two brothers, Wayne Sisson and wife Sheila of Okeechobee, Fla., and Steve Thompson and wife Brandy of Gatlinburg, Tenn.; a stepbrother, Joe Thompson Jr. of Gaston, N.C.; and four stepsisters, Tammy Loudin and husband Don, April Campbell and husband Shane, Amber Berry and husband Larry, all of Ashland, Ky., and Stacy Thompson of Lancaster, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland by Pastor James Wells. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
