CATLETTSBURG - Myrtle Katherine "Kathy" Barker, 64, of Catlettsburg, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
Kathy was born Dec. 15, 1948, in Boyd County, a daughter of the late Charlene Neal Fosson.
Kathy was a member of the Catlettsburg United Methodist Church in Catlettsburg. Kathy was a homemaker and the wife of Edward Albert "Eddie" Barker of Catlettsburg.
Kathy is survived by two children and their spouses, Columbus Boyd and Christine Partin of Seattle, Wash. and Jodie Rae Spriggs and Joseph Bocook of Lucasville, Ohio; one grandson, Rodney Sterling Spriggs II of Lucasville.
A graveside service for Kathy will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Chuck Allen.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland.
