Norman D. Hutchinson Sr. - 1940-2010
Norman D. Hutchinson Sr., 69, of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, in Hospice Care Center. He was born May 16, 1940, in Boyd County, Ky., to the late Marion and Ella Fleming Hutchinson. His wife, Laura Preston Hutchinson, survives. He was a self employed landscaper and a former member of the VFW.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Norman Dean (Becky) Hutchinson of Ashland and Ron (Samantha) Hutchinson of Catlettsburg, Ky.; three step-children, Tina (Patrick) Wheeler of Flatwoods, Ky., Paul Deborde of Flatwoods and David (Kim) Deborde of Ironton, Ohio; 6 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; two brothers, Charlie Hutchinson of Cannonsburg, Ky. and James Hutchinson of Ashland; and two sisters, Bess Gehringer of Ashland and Pauline Gumbert of Portsmouth, Ohio.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at Lazear Funeral Home Chapel in Ashland by Chaplain Jimm Smedley. Interment will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.
