CATLETTSBURG - Phyllis Ray Stewart, 62, of Catlettsburg, Ky., died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 10, 1948, in Boyd County, Ky., to the late James Tesket and Sarah Ann Stewart Ray. Her husband, Wilbur Eugene Stewart, died in 2004. She owned a cleaning company.
She is survived by two sons, David Workman and wife Kristine of Columbus, Ohio, and Bryan Keith Workman and wife Melody of Catlettsburg, ky.; five brothers, Robert Ray and wife Jean of Catlettsburg, Ky., Gene Ray of Catlettsburg, Ky., Frank Ray and wife Ramona of Kenova, W.Va., Eddie Ray and wife Phyllis of Rockdale, Ky., and Ed Ray and wife Joan of Cleveland, Ohio; and grandchildren Paige, Devin, Tori and Marshall.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Brother Eric Barnard. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, at the funeral home.
