Rebecca B. Winsor, 81, of Ashland, Ky., died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
Mrs. Winsor was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Lexington, Ky., a daughter of the late Henry Benton and Oma Dykes Benton Curnutte.
In addition, she was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Benton; and a nephew, Tony Curnutte.
She was a retired bookkeeper with Watson Lumber Co.
Surviving are her husband, Stephen T. Winsor of Ashland; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Roger (Marge) Winsor of Brunswick, Ga., and Keith Winsor of Greenup, Ky.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette Rene (Martin) Fitch of Westwood, Ky.; three grandchildren, Brittany Bowen, Stephanie (Matthew) Chavis and Lori (Mike) Hickman; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Suzanna Chavis; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ivan (Della) Curnutte of Greensburg, Ky., and Delmas (Judy) Curnutte of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister and brother-in-law, Jo (Mike) Tussey of Northern, Ky.; a niece, Elizabeth Carnel; and four nephews, Stevie, Derrick, Mike and Richard Curnutte.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Lazear Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. Charles E. Stewart. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1065 Dove Run Road, Lexington, KY 40502-3524
