Rosemary Stevens (1929-2009)
Rosemary Runyon Stevens, 79, of Westwood, wife of Douglas Stevens, died Sunday morning in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital following a short illness.
She was born April 22, 1929, in Catlettsburg, Ky., a daughter of the late Bill and Goldie Mae Barker Runyon.
Rosemary was retired from the former Hills Department Store.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, William Arthur Stevens and wife Rhonda of Ashland, Ky., and Douglas "Doug" Kevin Stevens of Ashland; two daughters, Paula Dawn Sergent and husband, Jim of Ashland and Deborah Ruth Stewart and husband, Charles of Ashland; one sister, Billie Jo Delaney of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. James Neely Runyon. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
