Sherri Watts Hay, 33, of Ashland, died Feb. 13, 2011, in Ashland from injuries she received in an automobile accident.
She was born July 7, 1977, in Ashland, a daughter of Bobby and Mary Howard Watts of Westwood.
She was a contracted carrier for The Independent and a self-employed caterer. She attended Fairview High School and ACTC.
Additional survivors include her husband, Ray Hay of Ashland; a son, Jacob Calhoun of Ashland; a daughter, Brittany Watts of Ashland; brothers John Watts and William Watts (Celesta Reed) both of Ashland; maternal grandparents John and Barbara Howard of Catlettsburg; paternal grandparents Bob and Jean Watts of Ashland; great-grandfather William Romans of Catlettsburg; and a nephew, Dax Andrew Watts of Ashland. Also surviving are a host of loving aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Steve Mays. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at the funeral home.
